HELLO! 
For this module I have prepared two different stories:

STORY Nº1: http://tinyurl.com/y9m54fa2 to do it I used VOKI (a great and easy tool to create characters and give them voice) 

STORY Nº2: COMIC, To create it I used "make beliefs comix". 

I loved working with VOKI to do the introduction to the comic. It is an easy and complet tool, so from now one I'm going to use it a lot in my classes! 

Make beliefs comix is a highly recommended tool as well, since it offers you many possibilities when you are designing a comic. You have lots of charcaters to choose (and differents poses for it), balloons to introduce text, objects and backgrounds. You can also modify the size of everything in the story and add music. 

As I told you, both of these stories are part of my first story "Three magic doors".

MODULE 2

Hi! 

I designed this story about harry and three magic doors because my first grade students are in love with Harry potter and magic. As you will see, the stortory is not finished, so I want to finish it with my students. I used the first part of this story to review the vocabulary taught in class: clothes vocabulary. I forst told the story to my students and then we did the activity proposed by the story.

Hi everybody, 

I was delighted to see all your stories! I designed the following infographic by using piktochart, in order to practice the food vocabulary with my students, encouraging them to become chefs for one day! They have to do the final activity in cooperative groups and, if we have enough time, we are going to cook the easiests recipes in class! You will see that it is very easy, so I am teaching at first level of Priary Education (7 years old students).

🏠 I'm from Sant Llorenç, a small village in Mallorca. Now I'm living in Ibiza.

For me, STORYTELLING is a very useful tool and have a double function when we use it in our class. I think it is USEFUL because children love stories, colors, characters ... and it also has a DOUBLE FUNCTION: on the one hand, the story allows us to use English in a playful and attractive way for the youngest and, on the other hand, through stories we can work on values, feelings, vocabulary, among others, while we are communicating in English.

So, now, it is important to analyze why to use Digital Storytelling in class. I think it is very important to take advantage of new technologies to offer a good quality education. Through online tools, we can personalize our stories and adapt them to our students, to their interests, to the vocabulary that interests us to work, and to many other things that may arise throughout the course.

I always say that, when thinking about expectations and goals with things, the best you can do is be realistic, so...

EXPECTATIONS OF THIS COURSE:

- Discover a wide range of tools to work with Storytelling in class.

- Increase my creativity.
